Fat Loss in Children
Whoa, look at this guyz, it seems that we’re not the only ones who should be concerned about fat loss.
From healthfetch.org
“ New study finds striking evidence that children who are obese or have high cholesterol show early warning signs of heart disease.
The study, presented Tuesday at the American Heart Association conference in New Orleans, found that the thickness of artery walls of children and teenagers who are obese or have high cholesterol resembled the thickness of artery walls of an average 45-year-old.
I think this is a red flag,” said the lead author of the study, Dr. Geetha Raghuveer, a cardiologist and associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine. “These kids are more similar to middle-aged adults.”
Scientists not involved in the study said the findings supported a growing body of research suggesting that childhood obesity in the United States was likely to result in heart disease as the children age.
Dr. Goldman was a co-author of a study published in December 2007 in The New England Journal of Medicine in which a computer model was used to predict whether heart disease deaths in the United States would rise. The authors predicted that by 2035, there would be 100,000 additional cases of heart disease attributed to current instances of obesity in children, an estimate especially noteworthy given that advances in treatment have reduced cardiac deaths in recent years.
“A lot of these kids’ arteries, even though they are in the early stages of atherosclerosis, are not hardened or calcified, not really advanced,” she said. “There may be an opportunity to implement lifestyle alterations, be it exercise, be it diet, or perhaps even medication. Perhaps it may be reversed.”
I hope this is incentive enough to make your children used to fat loss techniques from early age.

Weight Loss Tips: The easiest one
Hey freinds, I’ll give you one of the best weight loss tips, easier then anything you’ve heard before. WALK. I know i know you must think I’m crazy or something but check this out. From heatlhfetch.org
“Few of us think we need a course in walking any more than we’d need a course in breathing, but Mr. Fitz Gordon insists that most Americans don’t have a clue how to step, a problem he first noticed among his yoga students. “People would enter with terrible posture,” he said. “Then they’d do beautiful yoga, and listen to everything I said about alignment. As soon as class ended, they went straight into the bad posture.”
To help students take their practice into the street, Mr. Fitz Gordon incorporated walking lessons into his yoga classes, as well as teaching small group and individual sessions.
Under Mr. Fitz Gordon’s instruction, the clients try to correct their entire movement system rather than address aching knees or shoulders in isolation. “The body is like a machine,” he said. “Each part has its own job, and everything is connected.”
But unlike a car, the body also has the ability to compensate if one part breaks. “If you get a flat tire, you’re not going anywhere,” Mr. Fitz Gordon said. “But if you hurt your foot, you can limp and keep going.” Thus, the entire machine is thrown out of whack.
“Over time my gait looked more natural, and it became more easy and more curative,” said Dr. Kolber, 46. “If I felt my back was acting up, I’d go for a mile or two walk, and I’d feel better at the end because I was making the right corrections.”
Haha, I couldnt believe it myself, but their you have it, I hope that it’s one of the best weight loss tips you’ve received.
