Fat Loss awareness
It’s true about what they say, we’re all so laid back and easy that we have gotten FAT and the notion of fat loss is far from our minds, we all need to be more active and eat more healthily to halt the rising tide of obesity. As this article says from medicalnewstoday.com
“If we do nothing, by 2050 90 per cent of today’s children will be overweight and at risk from serious diseases - that’s the message issued today by Health Secretary Alan Johnson as he launched the Change4Life coalition.
Change4Life is a lifestyle revolution involving thousands of local organisations and charities which will help mums, dads and families eat well, move more and live longer. Under the banner Change4Life, the Government is aiming to galvanise support from everyone in the country from grass roots organisations to leading supermarkets and charities.
Health Secretary Alan Johnson said:
“Obesity is the biggest public health challenge the country faces. If we don’t take action now we will condemn our children to reduced life expectancy.
“That’s why we are aiming to create a lifestyle revolution that will help families to eat well, move more and live longer. We can’t start a revolution on our own - we need everyone from grassroots community clubs to multinational companies to join us.
“Ten million people visit their corner shops every day and 36 million shop at Asda and Tesco each week - the fact that grocers and supermarkets are on board means we can really influence what goes into our shopping trolleys.
“It’s unprecedented for supermarkets to join the Government and pledge to cut prices on healthy food. But this isn’t an exclusive club. Anyone who promises to help families to be healthier can join. I am today challenging every CEO of every company who can influence what we eat and how we exercise to come forward and tell us how they are going to help beat this national epidemic. Obesity affects us all so everyone must get involved.”
So I suggest we get up get some fat loss and join this campaign, it’s for our benefit after all.

Flat Belly Diet Veggy
Hey fellas, I was looking for veggies that would help me maintain my flat belly diet, this seemed like a good informative article. From healthfetch.org
“Celery is one of those vegetables that tends to sit around in the refrigerator after you buy a bunch because a recipe for soup or stew or, as Thanksgiving approaches, stuffing calls for one stalk. Celery keeps for weeks, but a lot of drooping stalks still get thrown away. That’s too bad, because there are plenty of things to do with this vegetable, and the tender inner stalks that probably didn’t get used — the heart — are the best part.
Celery contains phytochemicals called phthalides, which some studies have shown reduce stress hormones and work to relax the muscle walls in arteries, increasing blood flow. As a result, it has long been used in Chinese medicine to help control high blood pressure. Celery is an excellent source of vitamins K and C, and a very good source of potassium, folate, dietary fiber, molybdenum, manganese, and vitamin B6
Sliced very thin, celery adds a crunchy, herbal dimension to salads that you may not have known was missing. In one of my favorite Italian salads, celery is the main event, tossed together with shaved Parmesan, thinly sliced mushrooms and parsley in a lemony vinaigrette. This Italian salad may seem plain, but there’s something about the combination of textures and the tart and savory flavors that really works.”
This will help me get rid of the extra leftover clerey as well as keep my flat belly diet.
