There was a recent story that ran in USA Today that says some of the major credit card companies including Bank of America, Citibank and Capital One are now using the bank accounts of applicants in an effort to determine if an individual is a good candidate for a credit card. This is just another one of the determining factors that the credit card companies use when trying to decide who should get credit card approval.
